ICx Seplaa International launched Pakistan Turkey Impact Entrepreneurship Development Programme to help entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs explore skills export, trade and business opportunities in Turkey.
CEO of Seplaa Enterprises and Founder of Seplaa SEFA-ME (Seplaa Social Entrepreneurs Forum of Asia & Middle East), Ms. Ammara Farooq Malik had the honour of being invited as a guest speaker to the Holling center for the International Dialogue where she interacted with the Assistant Director of the Hollings Center for International Dialogue in Istanbul, Ms. Sanem Guner and Ms. Betul Celikkaleli, the Deputy Secretary General of Turkonfed (Turkish Enterprise & Business Confederation).
The meeting was part of the Pakistan Turkey Impact Entrepreneurship Program Development and was held in Istanbul. This meeting will strengthen the partnership with Turkonfed which will ultimately act as a stepping stone in helping and assisting entrepreneurs, in particular women, from Pakistan and will in addition build linkages in Turkey as Ms. Ammara Farooq remarked,”This programme has the potential to bring business linkages from Turkey to Pakistan and vice versa, and it will promote the growth of regional social enterprise development”. She hoped it would open an avenue, both for the new entrants and the business executive if they wanted to establish business ties with Turkish organizations.
